Сделал ряд заблокированных вкладок на папки. Но при каждом заходе в новую папку автоматически появляется вкладка на эту папку, в результате их число постоянно растет. Нельзя ли сделать так, чтобы новые вкладки самопроизвольно не появлялись, а отображались только заблокированные?

Делай их не блокированными, а частично блокированными (Заблокировать с возможностью смены каталога).
