Можно ли в TC сделать отображение панели задач Explorer'а и системного трея? Может плагины какие есть? Хотелось бы удалить панель и развернуть TC на всю площадь монитора.

Многократно обсуждалось. См., например, Сделал себе Тотал в качестве шелла с треем и таскбаром и Трей в TC. Поиском по словам Explorer, трей и т.д. можно найти и много другого интересного.
Замечание за нарушение п. 12 правил форума.
