всем привет. вот пытаюсь сделась вид тотала хоть как-то напоминающим фар. в сявзи с этим вопрос. на форуме смотрел -- ответа не нашел.

необходимо, что бы в каждой панели файлы и дирректори наспологались в двух, фиксированные по ширине, колонках. т.е. чтобы ширина колонки не зависила от длины имени файла как при "кратком" виде. и в случае, если длина имени файла превышает ширину колонки, то в статусной стороке показывались бы последние символы и расширение этого файла (под курсором, естественно).
