Давно уже хочется предложить ему использовать нормальный инсталлер от сторонних разработчиков. NSIS или Inno в крайнем случае..

Не думаю, что согласится. Распаковывать будет нельзя (стандартными средствами).

Не такой уж отличнейший.
Видишь, глюки лезут. Причем дурацкие (не проверяет то, что переменная может быть пустой).
И выглядит не очень.
