по прежнему, ф. "Лист ms excel.xls" (я присылал) открывается на 1 стр.
Сам Excel открывает его на 3 стр.

Хотелось бы увидеть поддержку цветовой подсветки текста и ячеек, хотя бы для xlsx и ods.

i do not plan that at the moment, as i dont see that it would improve readability and it would require me to restructure the code notably. maybe i'll change my mind later.
anyway, 1.20 cycle is over. in a week ot two, i'll start with 1.21 list.
that reminds me, i never posted changes in versions "e" and "f" - nothing important, but i'll list it now:
* changing the font no longer affects the dialogs
* large text in thumbnails (as requested by nik); should be useful for visually chalenged people using old laptops. there is no checkbox yet - you need to add "TnailsForGrandma=1" to ini file. (i'll add the checkbox or trackbar in next version, you guys try it out as it is now)
* added (partial) support for uof format; yes, you need to reset the detect string again to use the new format. support is incomplete - i could use a chinese beta tester right now
* added limit for auto-widening columns, made scrollbar thumbs update the grid |

Мне бы очень помогла, т.к. у меня по какой-то причине движки Excel и Ooo.org не хотят отображать цветные текст и ячейки в таблицах. Как это выглядит, можно увидеть на этом скриншоте.

Доброе время суток всем. Столкнулся с проблемой - пустое окно с надписью "Excellence 1.20f - Total Commander plugin". Внимательно прочитал данную тему, ничего не вынес. Точно так же плагин отказался работать с lister.exe. Провозившись с полчаса, плагин всё-таки запустил. Как оказалось, не запускался он из-за того, что имя оригинального файла коммандера (totalcmd.exe) было изменено.
З.Ы. версия плагина - свежескачанная с сайта автора, 1.20f |

i'm aware of the error. it will not be present in 1.21. still, i wouldn't mind a more detailed report - see second post on the second page of this thread, middle of the post. (mail is in the readme file of the main plugin, or use pm) |

Check that the contents of the file has cp1251 codepage.

Done. You can reproduce this bug. Just rename the file totalcmd.exe |

right. my bad. i see the the document just as tolik does, but i'm not sure how to react...
i'm considering adding a codepage submenu into the context menu (at least for csv/dif/sylk (since i have no reasonable way of detecting the codepage used) though i think that would be pushing it. we'll see if the menu idea makes it into 1.21...

it's not a bug, it's a feature. although inactive. scrapped. at one point, the plugin was supposed to borrow unarchiving capabilities from commander. never mind, let's stop the discussion on that subject. i never promised the plugin would work on messed up installations. i'll see that i fix that stupid check soon. |

Вместо отрицательных чисел, показываются очень большие положительные. Это при условии, что эти отрицательные цифры были введены руками. Если они получились из сумм или формул, то отображаются нормально.
Например, у меня -69.47 в OO.org, а в листере 10737348.77 и т.д. все прочие также.

Спустя более чем пол года я нашёл причину, по которой во многих программах (в частности, браузерах и табличных редакторах) не отображались фоновые цвета и цвет текста.
Как оказалось, у меня поставлена галочка напротив настройки включения повышенной контрастности (одна из т.н. Специальных возможностей Windows). Включается/отключается эта контрастность незамысловатой комбинацией LAlt+LShift+PrintScreen, которую можно нажать случайно при снятии скриншота 
Надо сказать, при включении режима повышенной контрастности пропадают не только цвета, но и некоторые элементы управления, что можно наблюдать на оф. ICQ клиентах. С другой стороны, в браузере Opera и с контролами и с цветами всё впорядке вне зависимости от режима контрастности.
Собственно, вот эта волшебная настройка:
